Good Morning, please read the following letter sent by OHSAA to our school. AT THIS TIME contact sports (Football, Soccer, Cross Country) are not permited to have scrimmages vs other schools. Volleyball (non contact sport) is permitted to have scrimmages vs other schools. Our Fall athletics will be moving forward with practices, first offical day is still August 1st. Just to clarify...CONTACT SPORTS. Intra-team practices, training, open gyms, scrimmages, games and tournaments are permitted. Inter-team (with another team) practices, training, open gyms, scrimmages, games and tournaments are also permitted so long as all teams involved agree to comply with the requirements set forth in the Director’s Order(from the State of Ohio Department of Health).
