About Me:
Hello! My name is Jerri Smith, and I am thrilled to be a 1st grade teacher at Fayetteville Elementary. I have been teaching for over 25 years. I have had the pleasure of teaching Pre-school, 3rd grade and 1st grade while teaching at Fayetteville Elementary.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education - Morehead State University
Master’s Degree in Education - University of Dayton
Teaching Philosophy:
I believe that every student has unique strengths and learning styles. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging classroom environment where all students feel valued and motivated to achieve their best. I use a variety of teaching methods, including hands-on activities, group work, and technology integration, to make learning fun and effective.
