About Me:
Hello! My name is Ms. Shebley, and I am thrilled to be teaching 6th grade Language Arts this year at Fayetteville Perry Middle School. I have been teaching for 3 years, 2 of which have been at FPLS. My passion is helping students discover their potential and develop a love for reading. I hope to have a wonderful school year!
For Remote Learning, students will need to navigate to their emails for a Google Meeting link. I will be online, via video chat, those days from 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm for any questions you may have. Assignments will be posted on Google Classroom and McGraw Hill.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education PREK-5 with a grades 6-9 extension - Northern Kentucky University
Classroom Expectations:
I believe that every student has unique strengths and learning styles. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging classroom environment where all students feel valued and motivated to achieve their best. I use a variety of teaching methods, including hands-on activities, group work, and technology integration, to make learning fun and effective. Throughout the course of the school year, students will read a variety of different novels in class that go along with our reading program, StudySync.
