About Me:
Hi, I have been a kindergarten teacher for 31 year; this is year 26 at Fayetteville Elementary School. I absolutely love teaching this age and watching them grow and blossom over the year.
I am a mom to two beautiful daughters and the cutest little fur baby ever. I see all my students as an extension of my family.
Education:
Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Morehead State University
Masters of Arts in Teaching and Learning with a specialization in reading from Nova Southeastern University
Teaching Philosophy:
I believe in making sure all students feel loved and safe in my classroom. I strive to make sure every student is seen as an individual, with as much potential as their peers. I am especially driven to help students be successful in the classroom setting but also socially with friends. I want to instill a love of learning in my students at a young age and leave a lasting impact on their lives.
