About Me:
Hello! My name is Sharon Sheets, and I am thrilled to be the K-5 Math Intervention at Fayetteville Elementary. I have been teaching at FPLS for 37 years, and my passion is helping students discover their potential and develop a love for learning.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education - Rio Grande College
Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction - Wright State University
Certified to teach Kindergarten-Eighth Grade
Teaching Philosophy:
I help students develop an understanding of math, encourage them to be independent thinkers, and feel confident about their math abilities. I believe that every student has unique strengths and learning styles. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging classroom environment where all students feel valued and motivated to achieve their best. I will help improve student learning by expanding the math concepts already presented in the classroom. I use a variety of teaching methods, including hands-on activities, group work, and technology integration, to make learning fun and effective.
