About Me:
Hello! My name is Ms. Teri Stethem. I have been teaching for 31 years. I taught at Little Lamb Christian Preschool for seven years. I have been teaching at Fayetteville Elementary for 26 years. I taught second grade in a self - contained classroom for 10 years and now this is my 16th year in 3rd grade Language Arts. I have 2 daughters - Jacquie and Nicole. They have blessed me with 10 grandchildren - 6 boys and 4 girls. My hobbies are reading, arts and crafts, drawing, traveling, and going to the beach.

Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education -Wilmington College, 1999
Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction Wilmington College, 2003, Masters in Reading
Certified as a Reading Specialist
Teaching Philosophy:
I believe that every student has unique strengths and learning styles. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging classroom environment where all students feel valued and motivated to achieve their best. I use a variety of teaching methods, including hands-on activities, group work, and technology integration, to make learning fun and effective.
